Are there plans afoot to build that link back into the template, of should we just keep on bumping this thread... ;)

It's on the front page isn't it? From the forum, click the three tents that say 'Portal' on them, then 'statistics' is one of the options down the left. (Don't forget the 'shoutbox' over on the right ;) )
