Does anyone use a postal DVD rental service? For those not knowing what I mean, its one of those where you pay a certain fee per month and they send you DVD's in the post. When you've watched them, you send them back (free) and they send you the next movies in your list.

The average fee seems to be around

One of my housemates used it and she loved it. She usually had 3 on the go at any one time and paid

29 films! Wow! Thats the one thing I worry about with it, I probably would end up watching maybe 3 to 6 a month, which then means it isn't such great value... just convenient I guess.

Is it based on a 12 month contract though? There must be a catch somewhere.

Yeah 29 was excessive but she was off work for 2 weeks. If you aren't gonna watch that many I guess the 1 at a time for

I got a free month from Empire used it, and it was great. Just sit on the sofa and wait. :P

Seems like a really good idea tbh. If I didn't spend all my spare time playing SWG I'd seriously look into this...

I finally got round to trying a couple of these out.

I started off at www.screenselect.co.uk with a free 2 week trail in Empire magazine.

Looks good. I might give Love Film a crack myself. I don't watch too many films, but I love some of those TV series...
