Uninstall BF1942 and BFV?

So, with BF2 on the verge of release, is it time to uninstall previous versions of Battlefield?

I definitly think Desert Combat will be coming off, I never really played that all that much anyway. BFV will probably come off, the only reason I liked that over BF1942 was for the helicopters and now BF2 will have plenty of them to keep me happy.

That just leaves plain old, original Battlefield 1942... hmm. The thing with BF1942, it is slightly different to the others. Its a slightly slower game. The planes are difinitly slower (and I feel better) than BF2's and it just gives a totally different game. I might leave this on, but then there is no point if no-one else does. I guess, I have to imagine, when we all have BF2, why would we ever go back to 1942?

What does everyone else think?

I never liked, or played, BF1942. I borrowed BFV, but was not impressed.

I only ever played Desert Combat, and BF2 is more than a replacement for that!

:lol: How can you not like 1942 if you didn't play it? In many ways I still think it was the better one, but maybe thats just because it was the original and was so great when it came out. I loved the choppers in BFV, but didn't like the maps as much as 1942's. We tried a couple of times the WWII mod for BFV, to try and take Vietnams graphics and choppers into a 1942 setting, but it never really felt the same.

im leaving it all on for now. I might remove BF:V. Like Mcbain, I enjoy flying a zero fighter into a carrier from time to time.
