Maybe you want to arrange your teams in advance? Get some practise in together? Post if you have a team or are looking for one, in this thread.
You don't have to make teams before, we normally just sort them on the day, but some people might like to get organised :)
Remember we need teams of 4.
I will try and keep this first post up to date with any teams formed.

well i dont know any of you,but i need a team for the lan, i play a fair bit and i was in div1 for cs1.6 and am currently in the top 10 clans for css ( -|mod|- www.pro-hl.com ) i dont mind who im with as long as its a laugh :)

I am happy to team up with anyone but there are a few warnings associated with this:
Our team name will be team CRAP.
Our motto:
'is the game starting?' & 'my mouse didnt work' or 'where the beer?'
Anyone who can play really well is actively discouraged-makes me look even worse you see. Fun is the number one goal of team CRAP-plus saying strange aussie insults like
'Suffer in your jocks' 'you idiot' & 'you play like a sheila'
any applicants? :P
Team CRAP has been added. Just need to wait for the applications to come flooding in really...

We've put out our best team possible at every Lanarchy and won hmmm... once in nineteen attempts...
so you've got every chance of winning :)
LNY/CoF aren't the best teams at events as cripp has said. I bet crap could possibly beat them :)

But you wont both be in a team though will you? You've just got one PC? Maybe your mate would be better at BF2 or UT2004? You do the CSS, he does one of them?
Not stricktly true, as Nea only got on today, i said i could sort a rental for his mate as i'm off work tomorrow.
Okay, well I need to know how many pretty quick, as we only have space for 20 unless I arrange extra tables. At present we have 20 confirmed, if we are going to have more, I have to try now to get the extra tables.
