It wont be here until July 2007.. but its coming

Under the direction of Michael Bay, and with Steven Spielberg executive producing, we know that Transformers is going to be the kind of explosive action movie that is perfect for the height of the summer movie season. By staking our claim on the 4th of July, 2007, we ensure that we not only have the time to make this movie the way it should be made, but also to build excitement and awareness leading up to its release

Robots in disguise.

Is anything oldskool when you are 15 btw? ;)

I was actually a fraction too old for these 1st time round (my lil' bro was well into them), but surely to a modern day teenager these things are older than Noah? Man kids toys must suck nowadays if people are still into transformers! (they do rock though!)

I only ever had one, was never really into them. I had some red geeza that transformed into a flamin moped... how exciting

There is going to be more news on the upcoming film at the San Diago comic convention (possibly even a poster for the film) as much as I am so looking forward to this film. I have my reservations about Micheal Bay directing it.

A Hairdryer obviously. I must admit, after watching this as a child, it should be a good film.

yeah but his current films have tanked at the box offce (bad boys 2, pearl Harbour) and I am hearing that his new Film The Island is getting poor reviews. Lets hope that the screenplay is good.

Ahhh Transformers-used to love them back in the early eighties-'Soundwave' with his dog and bird thingy, loved 'dirge' & 'starscream' too.
Friend of mine who is about 22 is into them big time-polishes them, keeps them in original boxes, sleeps with them.....
