can anyone tell me what the command is to make the crosshair smaller than just the sizes in the options? and has any1 else found it easier to kill with a smaller crosshair than autosize for example?

I'm sure Mits posted something about this already. I'd like to know what colour people find is best to see, I often lose it against bright backgrounds :(

Alright Cyph, the command in console is cl_cr something or other. As soon as you type in cl_cr you'll get 4 crosshair amendments.

I find crosshair size 2000 works well for me, although it's a bit easier to lose. Colourwise I tend to stick with default green, I lose the red one all the time.

I've hunted around and I think these are the only amendments you can make. If anyone knows better please tell!

The actual command (as I dont think anyone has actually typed it) is cl_crosshairscale "number" (minus the ")

The larger the number, the smaller the crosshair size

The croisshair size you should use will depend on, but not exclusive to, the following

1) Your personal preference
2) Your screen resolution
and 3) Your eye sight :)

Having a small crosshair size on say my 1680:1050 resolution (24" 2405fpw dell baby - kiss it) means it's sometimes hard to see - but this I have resolved by making it a vivid red colour (done through options or console)

The lower your system resolution the larger itll be anyway so just play about until you find the right size for you

btw i use ~2000 to 2500 on mine depending on whether the Old Man is on

Hope this helps
