First thing to do before you try this. Go here (www.numion.com) and measure your speed against UK websites.

Now head here (http://eco.btwholesale.com/broadband1/across_the_country/news_item16.asp) and download the optimizer.

Now go back to Numion (www.numion.com) (once re-booting) and measure your speed again.

I got 309 kbps beforehand (which I think is actually one of the quickest I've ever got) and 290 kbps after...so I can definatly say it has made any change.

If I download something and get over 60k/sec then I will let you all know :)

Right, I can't be sure if it's this thing thats done it, but something seems to have buggered up my connection...

The server scores high 200's on Numion now, and I'm scoring around 80. I can't open google...the server can?

I've run Eclipse's verion of this thing and I am trying to tweak the network MTU to get things back to normal. At one point it seemed to be getting there, scoring 170...but I still can't open www.google.com

In short, stear clear of this thing...

I can't open Google either, but I've never installed this tweak. Something's gone wrong with the ICS I think.

Yes, but could this tweak have messed with the network settings of the server?

So what server does it connect through if it's not using an ISP?
