default player model problem

Why can I only see two types of player models in CS?
I have checked that all player mdl. files are in place, but I still can't see all models.

I use no custom skins or custom models. I have the retail version of CS (1.5).

I have tried reinstalling without any luck. When I reinstalled I saved my old config and pasted it, because I feel very comfortable with that config. Should I reinstall again and use a 'fresh' config?

Any ideas?

Why not back up your config, try a default config and see if it makes any difference...

Though, teh pro's us cl_minmodels 1 :P

Is this what it probably is thats causing problems, or what it should be? What does that cvar actually do?

Pff...

Right. When it is set to 1 then you only see leet and gign models. When it is set to 0 you see all the models.
