***its christmas day in the home of homophobic dad and homphobic dad is standing awkwardly with a plate of mince pies in one hand. Homophobic dad's son, his son's partner and the mother are looking on****

Homophobic Dad: "oh isnt it great that at christmas we get to spend time with our son and our son's new boyfriend"

Son's boyfriend to Homophobic Dad " Can i have a mince pie"

Homophobic dad ***stepping backwards*** "oh ..errr right then I'll just get out of your way"

Son's boyfriend "no I WANT A MINCE PIE"

i guess you need to see the sketches but basically its implied that homophobic dad hears his son's boyfriend say "can i mince by" instead of "can I have a mince pie"

mincing is a kind of walk that is termed after gay people mincing (walking) by. It is english and very droll. very 80s/90s.
