i would run 64bit, BUT creative are slow getting the drivers for my onboard soundblaster live 24bit....
My X-fi runs fine with their 64-bit drivers ;-)

I know its slightly off topic, but I couldn't find the thread that had the problem of everything being shiny because of cubemap problems.
Well, today's update (http://www.steampowered.com/index.php?area=news&id=498) fixed this problem that happened on ATi cards.
Right in time for my new GFX card :thumbs:
my maps are still quite shiney and i am using an ATI Sapphire X700.

has HL2 64bit made any difference to the gameplay? is really that much faster?
