After I updated CSS yeserday all my favourite servers had gone. No big huge deal I just added them again, but today all my favourite servers have, again, gone away.

Is this only me or has this happened to others?

Do I want to add them all again, just for it to happen again tomorrow? :?

It happened to me before the update. I added them again yesterday, and Steam says I still have them in my favourites. I will try looking on the steam forums in a mo, to see if there is a fix of some kind.

I have this very often with steam therefore I just use Xfire to keep track of my favorite servers.
I run Xfire anyway so might aswell use the favorites funtion i thought :D

Yep the Steam brand version of my favs list has completely gone and everytime I update it, its gone again - think I may take young Link's advice and use xFire from now on

Ive said it before and Ill say it again...

Steam -----> great idea, bad implementation

Same with me whe i open steam in my deskto my favourites appear fine (sometimes) and then when i go in game they're not there, really annoying when u want to switch servers in game.

But like LiNk i use x-fire to keep track of my servers.

yep stokes is right you can acess all your favourites by not acctually opening css but just open steam instead and you will be able to see them there under servers. itsw really anoying though.

I agree it's a pain in the ass, but as mentioned there is Xfire... and you know you can click 'play' on the portal page of the server you want to join (in the serfver monitor bit)

Also, I think its possible to make a desktop icon that will do it too.

Something I haven't tried, but for those of us with a reserved slot, does Xfire let us force on, or tell us its full?

If only I was reserved....Lol :D I'd know then!

Mcbain - xfire forces on, as it has the effect of running the "connect" command, how do you think i get in? ;)

Melv, if you want a reserved slot, its only
