Intellipoint problems

I got a new MS mouse earlier, uses intellipoint drivers. I've seen this happen before, just dont know how to solve it.

What happens is I will mouse the mouse sharply from left to right then left again and it'll just stop and moving around a small bit.

Anybody have any ideas? Im gonna try all the usual ideas while I wait for replys.

i've never bothered with mouse drivers, they all seem to run fine on the standard windows drivers (unless they have something special on them) Tried restoring the original drivers to see if that solves the problem?

It's a MS Bluetooth mouse :P

I tried uninstalling the mouse drivers, but when I restarted the mouse was working without drivers (still had the problem), thing is im guessing XP just installed its own stuff, cause it likes doing that :P
