never go into a office stairwell when a guy called kiki is in there with any sort of weapon.................................that always keeps me safe at work
^^ Especially a P90 ^^
If you go out all guns blazing, you're making yourself an easy target.
Never try to catch a bullet with your teeth.
your friends will put a grenade in your teeth, because they think they can go through walls or something....

Bunny Hopping will get you killed!
I'm not sure how some of these will help you in real life... are some missing the point of this thread?
Try not to always rely on others, cover all angles yourself when possible.

When the opportunity presents itself, rush rush rush and take it!
Always listen to your surroundings because you never know what is around the corner

Don't always go in all guns blazing, make them wait and when they least expect it, you approach them from all angles.
P.S I like McBain's really makes sense in both RL and CS
Stokes
never walk around with a grenade in your pocket incase the pin gets snagged.....
make sure you throw the grenade and not the pin.......
don't pick you nose with a gun.....
vents are bad.....
Ok, so Fate shouldn't be allowed to post in this thread ever again...
Proper teamwork is always better than good individuals,
An empty tool (gun, stapler etc.) is a useless tool,
Buy the best when you can afford it and don't waste your money,
Speed might be good, but haste isn't.

Well fate, its not exactly a RL thing any of them for most people here.
Infact, i think i am one of the few here that is likely to do any of the above :side: .
And picking ones nose with a gun is OK, aslong as it ent loaded.
haha  mcb and why should'nt i be allowed to post?
Because every now and then we have a serious thread, but you come along and post a load of b*lls... thats why.
dont think......just feel it!
:)
serious thread......it's only a game....you know that right? theres nothing a series of moving graphics can teach you about real life bacause it simply isn't real itself....
It is a game? So> Football is a game? It's real?
We are already seeing you are failing to learn from things you really should, be they a game or in real life.
Anyway, the point of this thread is exactly the link between real life and games. The point you totally missed.
i'd disagree Fate. FPS games can teach people alot, namely Teamwork and to expect the unexpected.
They can teach comunication and leadership skills, and co-ordination.
If they were useless, why would they be used as training simulations in military units?

Always never hesitate to sacrifice yourself to save the team!
Hiding in the corner is never a permanent solution.
You can only run SO far...
Sometimes it's better to be a follower than a leader.
Sometimes you need the team to have different targets to succeed.
and;
Snipers suck ;)
Hiding in the corner is never a permanent solution.
Ooh, I do like this one. Although, it does sometimes work if you have a strong enough team working with you... it just shouldn't be your solution is all ;)
Flashing Can lead to permanent injury. Death or a swift kick in the balls
The same problem can often be solved in many ways,
No matter what you do people will always be able to surprise you,
Sometimes you might do everything right but still lose,
Just when you thought you had seen the most stupid person, they will upgrade the quality of the stupid people.

i find that if you run around with the wrong item out it can useally lead to horrible things
if you want something doing right, do it yourself.
two heads are always better than one.
two heads are always better than one.
But enough of your sex life...

Running with your knife out may be a quicker way to reach your destination - dead!
Not sure that's much use to most of us. I don't even carry a knife... The only knife I might run somewhere with is my butter knife if I think I'm burning my toast, and I've never arrived dead at the toaster...

..........yet
how about running with a knife out can get you killed?
