View Full Version : Half Life Completed in 45 Minutes
I've only watched the first few minutes... or as far as I got into it, but it's pretty amazing how quick the guys moves, how well he knows where he's going etc -

Ahhhhh the ability to bunnyhop
This was how the "Half-life 2 done quickly" vid appeared. Fast paced, missing all that he did not need to do and bunnyhopping that whole way.
I think that is a lot of practise in there, and using shortcuts such as leaping down the lift shaft :-) and of course any boring loading of new areas is edited out, still, I plan to watch this when I get home tonight.
nice find.

more than just bunny hopping. He hardly kills anything, and really does enjoy using glitches.
There was some pretty 'dodgy' editing in some bits of that, kinda made me wonder whether it was all part of the same run through the game. Still, I was impressed, his use of glitches was pretty amazing at points, and also his jump tricks using the gauss gun/snarks. And it's pretty safe to say that he fully owned the giant alien spider and the final zen boss dude. I felt shamed watching some of that, just seeing him fly through levels that i'd spent literally hours exploring was enough to make my valiant half-life completion seem like a one armed child trying to play on the monkey bars :(
This guy IS gordon freeman. Or at least how valve imagined him to be :D
p.s. Anybody got a link to HL2 done quick? Sounds interesting after watching this!
