Hopefully it is of any interest to somebody.

Processor is AMD 64 3500+ but it works stable as 3800+ at 2400 GHz without any changes in voltage.
DVI output on video card can be used as a HDMI video output for HDTV 720p/50 or 1080i/50 (well I guess everybody knew that).
This PC has scored in 3DMark2003 12870 points (http://www.uksdb.com/images/3dm03.jpg) and in 3DMark2005 5900 points (http://www.uksdb.com/images/3dm05.jpg). Its the same as ATI X1650 PRO or nVidia 7600 GS with Intel Core2 Duo Extreme X6800 processor on NVIDIA nForce 680i platform.
The Hard Drives I use were thoroughly selected in according to Storage-Review (http://www.storagereview.com/php/benchmark/bench_sort.php) testing results (as well as all other components, dont worry).

That seems little pricey for that tbh as i got 5400 on 3dmark 05 and my set up in total cost £600, but you do add a liitle more. i think you should put it at a max of £1000 but what do i no about computers lol.

Seems a little pricy for a second hand pc, weve had much higher spec pc go for far less. I doubt you will find a buyer on these forums unless the price is lowered. How long have you owned the pc and what is the erge to sell it??

Sorry pal, hate to burst your expect ions but you;re having a laugh for a grand for that two year old, over clocked PC.

Sourcing all components ( or equivalent) from brand new online (except monitor which is discontinued, but the old CRTs are dirt cheap on eBay these days) I make a grand total of under £800 to get all that kit brand new at todays prices.

TBH with wear and tear, £500 is more likely.

Sorry dude.
If you can get a grand then well done, but realistically speaking it's unlikely.

Crouch is right, check out podcast 17 (?) the PC for a grand competition.
1000 notes pays for a kick ass core2 duo with an X1950 plus the rest.

Hi again. Thanks for your comments.
This PC is 2 years and 12 days old. I want to sell it because I need a new one designed for video editing.

I've checked prices again. They have changed since I've prepared this post (3 months ago). Now if anyone wants to buy a brand new stuff then today prices would be as shown below.

AMD 64 3500+ S939 - £48
Asus A8V (3x Raid edition) £45
Corsair 1G DDR3200XLPT - £69
Asus X800XTPE AGP - £247
Hitachi Sata HDD 7K250 250GB - 2x £47
Raptor Sata HDD 74GB - 2x £145
Thermaltake Silent 480W PSU - £36
Thermaltake Tsunami Case - £60
Plextor PX-712A - £40
Sony FDD - £4
Logitech MX510 mouse - £29
Iiyama VM Pro 514 22" Monitor - £400! (£40 on ebay isn't true price, I'm sure you know how it works)

£1362 *delivery costs not included : )

The big broblem really is this CRT monitor but just because it's CRT. I believe that £150 will be right price for it as there is a big difference between CRT and CRT monitors. It is a good monitor actually, especially for gamers.

So, lets make it £850. But no Budweiser then! Speakers, headphones, webcam and games included.

And MackTee, please send me an e-mail with links to the sites or company names and phone numbers where you can get parts for so low price, I'm gonna need them (except well known ones like froogle, dealtime or kelkoo).

Ross,
I get a lot of my stuff from Dabs (http://www.dabs.com)
prices are quite reasonable (especially compared to PCWorld - Uggghhh!)

Just as an example a 74GB SATA150 Raptor is going for £100 (http://www.dabs.com/ProductView.aspx?Quicklinx=44J8&CategorySelectedId=11154&PageMode=1&NavigationKey=11154,40830000,45510000&InMerch=1) on their site.
They've also got the cheapest Gt8800s I've found so far in the UK.

www.microdirect.co.uk (http://www.microdirect.co.uk)

are usually not too bad either.

Anyone else know anywhere better?
(got my own upgrade planned as well :D )

If I may point in the direction of Podcast #8 (http://feeds.feedburner.com/LanarchyPodcasts), we looked into the cheapest online places to shop. :) I can't remember which won, but I think eBuyer and Aria did well. I always use eBuyer myself, it is very odd if another site has something cheaper than they do.

Can't remember where I saw it, but haven;t we got a referral link to ebuyer that donates 0.00000000001% of sale price to LNY?

I think Lestat has put doubts in my mind to get my new kit end of this month. Gonna wait a bit longer now, even though it feels like xmas has been postponed til easter.

Long live the AMd3500 & Gt6800 combo!

All of them are on the link at the top 'Affiliates'.

Btw, you've put the wrong details into your profile for Xfire. I think you've put an e-mail addy, it should be your Xfire username.
