Just started playing this today. Are there any tips as to when the suspect is lying? At the moment I'm kinda guessing...

You can normally tell if they can't hold eye contact and keep looking around. Though some can be very tricky to read.

To clarify your contradiction (you can't hold eye contact and look around) if they hold eye contact it's more likely they are truthful. Another tip I've found, if you accuse them of lying, they usually say what it is you then need to disprove. If you can't see evidence that does this, you can back out of your accusation (pressing O I think).

I'm quite enjoying it now, although I think I'm probably walking past lots of clues

Should tell you at the end of each case if your missing stuff

I am rubbish at getting some of the questions right. I just call people liars then they get mad and clam up.

Just be sure to explore the entire setting, I've found a lot of things come up if you've entered a room for example the poker room early on.

I love what I've played of this game so far. Just finished the Homicide cases and got promoted. If you've ever watched the TV show Lie to Me, or checked out Dr Paul Ekman then you should be pretty good at this game lol. Learning the facial expressions that show different emotions helps me catch the liars a lot.

A tip for finding clues, the game stops playing the music once you've found all the clues in the area. It does a little jingle to tell you you've found the last clue, then it stops the mystery music in the background.

Just moved on to the 2nd disc, Did not know about the Badges hidden in the city until Pete told me. Also just learnt about the hidden cars.

Loving this, I'm now on either the 3rd or 4th homicide case and have gotten pretty good at reading the peoples expressions (i think).

Really really enjoying this so far! I've heard that there will definatly be DLC as there are 2 desks (like homicide or traffic) that didnt fit into the retail release and will be available at somepoint as DLC

I guess it should be quite easy to release DLC, as it's kinda like a detective show on the TV, lots of individual stories.
