Lanarchy 33
Yup, I'm sure you all can't wait, well the next LANarchy event will be...
While we will be keeping the CoD4 theme for this LAN, we will likely have a CSS competition again. As well as these two, I'm sure plenty of Team Fortress 2, Company of Heroes and maybe some Unreal Tournament 3 will also be played.
Lanarchy events do now of course have an internet connection. Please make sure your steam games are up to date and run in offline mode.
The event will start at 10am and go on until 10pm as usual. There is free parking right outside, and with it being only 3 or 4 minutes from both the M25 and M1, it's a nice easy venue to get to from most of London and the Midlands.
The Costs
A full day of fun with the Lanarchy peeps is only £12 payable on the door. If you want to save a little, you can pay £10 in advance using a variety of methods. If you are contributing £10 or more to the running of Lanarchy, you get the further reduced rate of £7 for the day, but this is required in advance.
LAN Payments are non refundable or transferable.
Prizes
£25 Play.com Gift Voucher
4x $25 Gift Vouchers for eDimension
Feedback Received
While we cannot guarantee you a great day, almost everyone leaves telling us they had a fantastic time. See what some others have said about our events -

Lanarchy 31
The time has come...
10am Saturday 17th November
Event Details
As with most Lanarchy events, the main theme of the LAN will be Counter Strike Source and hopefully now some Team Fortress 2. We will try and squeeze in some Company of Heroes, Battlefield 2 a bit of UT2004, maybe Quake Wars ET.
Lanarchy events do now of course have an internet connection, but we had huge problems with this at the last event.
Prizes
This LAN has been sponsored by 24-Play.com who are Lanarchy's current server providers.
They have given us two great prizes which will be raffled away at the end of the LAN, a 5.1 Medusa Headset and a MS Wireless Laser Mouse -

I've been watching MoH:Airborne for the last several months, and I have to admit I was not quite convinced by the Evil Empire's (E.A.) flowery comments and promises about it. But that has changed - I have played the demo twice, and am utterly humbled.
The game has amazing and very detailed graphics - dozens of things will be going on at any given time on your screen, with airplanes going down in flames, enemies trying to flank you (the A.I. is quite good), your squad mates yelling and running about, not to mention the fact that the lighting is spot on.
Sound is quite good - realistic, and unlike any previous WW2 FPS games, you don't feel like you're playing the leading role in the next Saving Private Ryan You actually feel like you are in the war.
I seriously recommend this to any serious FPS gamer - the game is well worth playing, and below I have added some links to the 1.3 gig demo download for your convenience
