Personally I like the Vladamir vodka advert with that tubby geeza thinking he's the mutts nutts. The other advert I enjoy is the Phones4u with the two chapies in the van with the big speaker on top, very funny

You know those adverts about being embarrassed about your mobile, generally I'm not a big fan. This has to be the best (http://www.phones4u.co.uk/adverts/Phones4Moo.mpg)...and it's banned from UK TV

Apparently this one is banned too (http://www.phones4u.co.uk/adverts/bannedhotelroom.mov), although I'm sure I've seen it on one channel.

Haha, those two are great.

I like that mobile phone one, forget which company but it's about some american rapper and he is on the place and presses all the buttons in the toilet, then presses one and it sucks him into the toilet.

also the newer one is good, when he is trying to work the remote control. Then moons everyone outside.

Thats Virgin Mobile I believe about the idle thumbs, the rapper is Busta Rhymes. Yeah, they're quite funny.

There was also a list of the ten worst and best adverts on TV in Metro this week, though I thought they got some of them in the wrong lists. I'll post a link if I find one...

Interesting that the Fosters ad is on there, but they let it go? Tbh, I thought it was/they are a bit sick really.

I've remembered an ad I hate, the Intel mobility CPU adverts that seem to claim your connection will be much better with their laptops :?

Just watching another TV ad that annoys me. The McDonalds ad for the 'Big Tasty' - "Sorry America, this ones not for you" when they are openly available all across the US...

Surely they can be done for saying that when it's not true?

An ad that I like, the yellow pages ad where the guy has cut his nieces hair and he goes in pretending to shout at the hair dresser.

Do you guys remember the old BT adverts in the early '80s with the yellow bird? It was funny and always stuck in my mind. Strange though that what was a state owned monopoly having to advertise!

I like that new advert for the beers... you aussies, they got a couple of good ones.

The one where they are in soom african jungle and a couple of blokes call them up and then they sitting there and his beer started moving and the other says "Those ant's will have anything away!"

"well there not getting mine!"

then the guy and his chair begin moving of to the left (getting carried away by the ants)

Also they sitting down in some african place again, and they got them both drinking, and its focused on the one guys head so you can't see the rest of his body and the other who is in clear view says "You sure you should be drinking that local brew mate?"

"Yeah"

"All the same, i think you should stop drinking that stuff"

"nah I'll be allright"

then it shows both of them and the guys head has shrank.

haha, love it.

Anyone else see these for another opinion?

Bit of a bump for this thread, inspired by the really annoying Vauxhall advert with the two kids 'Someone's not been to the toilet'. It wouldn't be that bad if it wasn't on every advert break through the NFL football

On the flip side, we're loving the dancing C4 (http://uk.download.yahoo.com/ne/fu/oa/eurcncs185030.mpg) right now ;)

This Budweiser ad (http://www.detnews.com/2005/screens/0501/27/D01-71316.htm) sounds like it would have been great

In the new Budweiser ad, a stagehand tries to fix Janet Jackson's costume from last year's Super Bowl after using it as a beer bottle opener

 Shame it wont air :( (But you can see it here (http://www.budweiser.com/wardrobe_malfunction.html) ;) )

Some Advertising Standards Agency case studies here (http://www.asa.org.uk/asa/focus/case_studies/), the funniest one being about the Frogs todger. (http://www.asa.org.uk/asa/focus/case_studies/Jamster+Crazy+Frog.htm)

On a related note, gotta love the Darth Vader film pitch (http://www.visit4info.com/details.cfm?adid=22035) Orange advert.
