wtf thats random... souns like eminem to me

Penguin
20-10-05, 10:44 PM
It wouldn't be eminem or will smith, as they are both popular artists, and their lyrics would be all over the internet.

Unless, of course, these lyrics are from a demo tape/rare song/live performance?

Can you give us a hint Lestat?

Kbrothers

dang........ which lyrics database you put it through?

Penguin
24-10-05, 09:36 PM
Google :D

Anyway, for my lyrics, you have to find everything that you did before, plus the missing gaps (excluding the * Skav :) ), should be harder that just copying them into google!

We _ _ _ _ _ the way we breathe
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ air will have to do
Rearrange and see _ _/ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Stupid f****** _ _ _ _ _

That one was easy if you like classic punk - no Google required. A great song from their 1st and best album 13 Songs.

This w*** ** t*****y fugazi
Where *** t** prophets, where *** the visionaries

Not swear words blanked out but trying to slow the Gargoyle users down

google?!??!?!?!?!?!? which page? i ran that through the first 4 pages, and nothing :!: Use quote marks for the whole bit of the lines and it matches the entire string, so the search string was: "the way we breathe" "air will have to do"

And that is another classic - Fugazi by Marillion

I'll post one although it will be easy to find on Google i'm sure so there doesn't seem much point.

So specially for Scoobs who wouldn't need a search engine:

Charlie, beat the beats, the beats you beat
The only thing harder's the smell of my feet
So listen up cuz you might get dissed
Go drain the lizard or take a...Chair!
Damn...watch the beat!

I'm on your case, I'm in your face
Kick you and your father back in place
Step up sucker, understand
Don't you know that.....

Sorry mate - it doesn't read like that.

Correct of course Scoobs - I can't get the song out of my head now - which isn't a bad thing

Right I'm gonna resurrect this, with a proviso:

Can we all please leave the google monster* out of it? Basically if you know it - post. If not leave it. If one has been up 24 hours with no one getting it right then you can hit google*, but please don't just crank lyrics into google* as the whole thread is pointless if you do.

Thanks

Right and here's an easy one ;) (well I think it's easy)

Then she made the mountains sing
Birds against an icy sky
And I heard bells ringin'
I think I heard an angel sigh

Now we can only rely on peoples honesty in terms using Google*, but it would be nice if one person didn't f*ck it up for everyone else!

Remember: I'm quick to anger. :evillaugh:

*This doesn't just mean Google - it means any search engine or lyrics database, just thought I'd say that before someone 'accidentally' misunderstands me

Lestat

I want to say Take That, But i doubt even scooby would sink this low :P

/bump. For the love of God someone google it and post another I'd say 24 hours have just about passed... ;)

and a bonus one:

"efilnikcufecin"

gob
13-03-06, 02:42 PM
Ok the bonus is NFL by Anthrax and my google search for the original one came up with In a Simple Rhyme by VH.

Here is a section from a pleasant little ditty:

Such a wicked vicious woman, black magic voodoo queen
Lesbo nymphomaniac, ooh, she's got a girlfriend that's seventeen

Right. I'm pretty certain it's by W.A.S.P. But I'm blessed if I can remember the song. Animal (I f*ck like a beast) may be? 9. 5. N. A. S. T. Y. ..?

Hmm. Anyone got a memory for sale? Mine appears to be broken!

gob
14-03-06, 11:51 AM
It is WASP but neither of those - next line is:

Bye Bye Bye....(insert song title here)

Ballbreaker...

:wall:

Hmm give me a few and I'll think of something someone else might get ;)

gob

Sc00by
18-03-06, 07:42 AM
Well as that was (eventually) right - here's something that someone else might get...

"Look at your watch now
You're still a super hot female
You got your million dollar contract
And they're all waiting for your hot track"

And it's not even an obscure bit from the middle of a verse...

Just listnering to something I record off the radio and a wonderfull line:
Now there's a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky.

Oh and Sc00by is it What Are You Waiting For ?

Fizban]Oh and Sc00by is it What Are You Waiting For ?

By ex No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani. Yep

That is a line from the fantastic Shine on you Crazy Diamond from the album Pulse by the one and only Pink Floyd.

[OLSC]Fizban

Yep (actualy the radio recording was Dave Gilmore as a solo artist but I'm spitting hairs)

Right this is a British Classic from Canvey Island's favourite sons:

White boy in town
Big black, blue sound
Night club, I paid in
I got a stamp on my skin
Main attraction dead on his feet
Black man rhythm with a white boy beat
