Things will kick off as usual at 10am on Saturday May 24th and go on for 12hours, all for only
put me down i should be able to put a break in my revision.
wont bring my steering wheel this time lol :D
Here is my idea of how the eRacer competition is going to work at this event. Anyone that who has watched a WWE Royal Rumble Event may pick this up quicker than others. In this example, we will say there are 14 people in the competition.
1- Everyone draws a number 1 to 14, from a hat/box/container
2- Thosewith numbers 1 to 8 join the race server
3- A race takes place over 2 laps
4- The person that comes last in the race is out
5- A new game is created and #9 joins the race
6- Repeat from 3 until everyone has joined
7- When there is no-one left, just the 8 in the server, the races change to 3 laps
8- People continue to be eliminated until there are only 4. These people then race the final.
Simple, eh?
not really, but i get what your saying there
could we not just do it over 2 servers with 1 on 1, winner stays on?

Jesus, what is it with you and one on ones? You wanted CS 1 on 1, UT2003 1 on 1 and now eRacer 1 on 1! Would your idea LAN event be just you and one other person? :P
Also, lets sat we have 20 people, thats 19 races, even on two servers your looking at well over an hour...and you might only get one quick 2 lap race...
We may use two servers, if the entries are high, but will switch to just one when we only have 8 people left in.
He is trying to increase his odds, if its 1 v 1 theres a 50% chance of winning!!!!!
exactly lol as i can't play CS lol
I will play S_S 1on1 in UT2003

LOL, sounds great. I like the idea. Not hard to realise you was ACTUALLY watching wresting when u came up with that 1.
LOL, hunter your so funny with your one-on-ones.
i like 1 vs 1 because it's good practice
Okay, 2 points -
1) How is 1 on 1 at eRacer (or any other game) better practice than 8 racers on the server? Practice should either simulate competition conditions, or be against no-one else at all.
2) This is a Lanarchy event, practice should have been done on the run up to the event, not at it
i can understand eracer.
And yeah it should be done before etc. but 1 on 1 is good if not many people are either good or don't play it very often.

Still disagree with you there. All n00bs on one server would still be better. :)
easy targets, Scooby soz if u feel picked on :)
If you ever do a 2 day event it could happen over night
ok are the <SEL> guys coming?
Haven't heard from them yet :(
Maybe I should e-mail them, as last I spoke they thought they would be...
Well it looks like it's going to be another of those 'cosy' LANs :?

12noon - CS 4 on 4 Round Robin
2pm - eRacer Elimination
